At Xylo we only choose the best materials for our oak wood flooring. Whether you choose the engineered or solid oak wood flooring will depend on the room you’re laying it in and the type of heating you intend to use. Engineered oak wood flooring is ideal for areas where under floor heating is to be used, as its tri-layer construction gives it durability and resistance to expansion or moisture absorption.

Oak has always been popular in the UK, used for centuries in the construction of furniture, ships and wooden buildings due to its incredible strength, hardness and longevity. Xylo oak wood flooring shares the same properties, and has the same attractive features too – such as the grain pattern, texture and depth of colour after polishing. The colour of oak wood flooring differs with the species of oak, but will darken and enrich its shade with age.

Choose from easy to install Xylo engineered oak wood flooring, available in 3-Strip or single plank options, plus a variety of widths, grades and finishes to suit any application.

For a more traditional construction over a sub-floor – our solid oak wood flooring is available in a variety of finishes that include lacquered, brushed and oiled/stained, even hand-scraped and lacquered.

One of the great benefits of solid oak wood flooring is that you have the ability to sand and refinish the surface of the wood numerous times, enabling you to extend the look and life of the wood floor for many decades.

Oak wood flooring brings a beauty and elegance to a room; its rich texture and dense pattern make it the ideal choice for your new hardwood floor. Take a look through our selection and even request a sample to see for yourself, or find our nearest dealer and see for yourself the quality and finish you get with all Xylo’s oak wood flooring.

Down through the centuries Oak has been the building material of choice. When used to create flooring it offers a product which will be both durable and comfortable underfoot. Engineered White Oiled

With a factory applied white oil to lighten the appearance, the finish is very similar to an unfinished oak floor, with the added benefit of keeping this unique look on a pre-oiled board. A subtle white oiled finish on the board creates a lighter more contemporary look. These stylish boards are the perfect compliment to a modern interior.
